The first public beta of the second version of the Firefox web browser is now available for download. While primarily aimed at developers the beta release also provides some nice new features for users:

 

• Inline spell-checking in forms on webpages.

• Built in phishing detector for your security.

• Better support for web feeds.

• Automatically reopen your lost pages in the event of a browser or system crash.

• Reopen tabs that you accidentally closed.

 

Beta software is not for general use as they may still contain some bugs however Blueprint IT consider this beta to be a remarkably high quality.
