Prior to Blueprint IT providing any IT developments or service for SYNERGY:TS Ltd they found out as much as they could about our business, the people in it, the IT systems currently in place, our business processes and the way we use our IT. Gaining a thorough understanding and recognition of the IT challenges we faced so that they were well equipped to tailor any IT services and solutions to suit the wants, needs and desires of our business.

Before Blueprint IT, provided us with any development and support we had a number of IT issues that were interrupting our daily business. Our main concern at the time was our customer database, we had several back-ups and a number of databases in use containing overlapping and differing information about the same customers. This was causing issues with communicating effectively with our customers and had the potential to ruin valuable business relationships that had taken a long time to build. Having a number of working databases and a growing number of customers was becoming unmanageable and a risk to the business. After consultation Blueprint IT rationalised and integrated the databases and datasets into one. They then developed bespoke software that integrates directly into our Microsoft customer database program providing us with a much more simple intuitive method of communicating with our customers and giving us the confidence in our IT to reliably and accurately carry out semi-automatic communications, including emailing and faxing of news and offers about our services.

It is testament to Blueprint IT that the above issues are long since forgotten and we have moved onto and beyond other IT issues that were a problem when we met Blueprint IT, they were simply some way down a long list of IT issues concerning us.

The most recent improvement to our IT enables all staff to ‘login’ to every PC in the office under their individual user account, and it works! Being able to print and access the information they require is essential for our staff to do their job, our staff work on a very flexible basis, including job sharing, having people tied to one PC defeated the investment made in a server and frustrated the running of the office.

Now we are getting our IT systems to perform for our business in a manor it has never done before with other IT companies we have dealt with in the past.

In our experience having used a number of other IT suppliers, Blueprint IT is able to offer a service that other providers can not. They are able to understand and meet unique IT challenges of an organisation based on a bespoke understanding of the use of their IT equipment; this is due to the flexibility of their team.
